Can Sackboy breathe under water?

Sackboy can hold his breath for 30 seconds, after which time his air will run out and he will pop! You can replenish Sackboy’s air supply by breathing special bubbles from a Bubble Machine, and this will reset the timer to 30 seconds.
There is a Scuba Gear power up that can be placed in a level that will allow Sackboy to breath under water indefinitely.
